Shipping Practices and Policy

Shipping is calculated at checkout for both domestic and international packages. As a standard, most large paintings will ship rolled - not stretched. I specify in each listing if a painting ships rolled or "ready to hang." This may have to change after purchase for international shipping, depending on how it needs to be taken by the shipping company. This will be discussed if it comes up.

Ready to hang means that the painting ships stretched and with hanging hardware installed. Large paintings ship rolled because it is safer and more cost-effective to do it this way once paintings reach a certain size. If you would like to purchase a large painting and have it shipped stretched, you may do so at your expense.

Once you receive a rolled painting, it can be taken to a local framer or canvas shop to be stretched back onto bars. Typically this cost is the same or less than shipping said piece stretched.

The timeline for shipping original art is not a quick one, as pieces have to be retrieved from storage, prepared, and safely packaged. Typically, you can expect your piece to leave my studio within fourteen business days. Once a piece is with the shipping company, you'll receive an email with tracking information and expected delivery dates. All pieces are covered by shipping insurance.

Return Policy

As a rule, no refunds are given for original art, commissions or print purchases. Shipping is difficult and expensive, so please ensure you're certain of your decision prior to purchase. If your item arrives damaged, please photograph the state of the packaging, the label on the package, and the damage to the item, then email hello@jennakaststudio.com. I'll work with you to ship the piece back to me. Once in transit, you will receive a refund for the item, or can transfer the cost to a different piece.

Installment Terms and Conditions

I offer the option to purchase most of my original art in installments. I manually manage these installments, so there's no interest or third party fees. To purchase art on installments, select the $100 Down Payment option on the artwork page and complete your purchase. I'll then reach out to discuss how you'd like to split payments for the remaining balance, and set up monthly invoices for payments. The painting will ship once all payments are 100% complete.

If you decide at any point in the purchase process that you would no longer like to finish the purchase, you have two options: 1. You can apply the amount you have already paid to another available painting. 2. You can receive a refund of the amount you have paid less 25%. I reserve the right to this 25% fee, as the painting has been unavailable and unlisted due to your intent to purchase.

To purchase an original painting with installments, please email hello@jennakaststudio.com to begin the process.
