Arctic Meadow is the first piece in an ongoing series of fantastical, nature-inspired, mural-sized paintings. Intended to be large enough to lose yourself in these magical places, as if standing in front of a window to another world, this piece specifically was inspired by the changing colors of the Arctic tundra in the Summer and Fall. Normally a bleak and treeless, snow-covered landscape, the scrub brush of the tundra bursts to life with warm, vibrant hues in its short blooming season.
